If you really knew me you would know that I have this complex about my belly. It just has to be flat. I know I hear you all saying you are skinny. Even skinny people have problems about their size too. Long ago I could eat whatever I wanted and I would go outside and burn it off. That's being a "tom boy" for ya.
But after having my beautiful kids and not getting younger, I can't do that anymore. So I have been kind of working out thanks to my beautiful daughter, who is a manager trainer for the Sevier County Football team and is a Junior this year. During the summer we have done some work outs but have not stuck to them whole heartedly. I have been eating right for the most part. Lots of fruit and veggies have come into my life this year for I have had some internal problems. Won't go into detail. My legs have been more tired but I discovered by exercising, they don't feel tired like they have been.
Anyways I have been shopping for exercise equipment. Here's what we got a few months ago from the New Hope Thrift store on 66, next to the Christian Book Store (Family book store).
So as you can see it's in my daughers room. This would probably cost anywhere from $500 to $1000 and we got it for only $150. Couldn't pass it up. She works out on it too. Then I wanted an exercise bike. Walmarts has one for about $99 but here's the one I got and I also just got it today from the New Hope Thrift store on DollyParton Parkway.
It was only $5. It's a start to building a small home gym so I can work out. Who needs one of those fancy ones, this one works great. Didn't really want to go to a gym and work out because I don't know how to work those computerized ones and I would feel unintelligent if I approached one. I really don't like to bother busy people, asking them how do you use this. Maybe one day I'll get there. Now I'll be looking for a treadmill but I'm in no hurry for that.
I'm content with what I have gotten and again I can say it's a start. This is going to be new beginnings in building my life physically and spiritually for God is always with me through my endeavors. Thank you Lord for allowing me to have these things to get myself healthy and to stay healthy. God Bless all of you. :)
P.S. I tried it out and it seemed like it took forever to get to 1 mile. Yes it does have a mph/rpm odometer on it. Don't think the rpm works well for when I peddle it goes up to 40 or higher and I don't think I'm going that fast. It goes crazy! But I believe the mph is right, I hope so for that's what I want to keep track of everyday.

Way to go, Ms. Robin!! Proud of you and your great buys!
I love that you were able to get such great deals on this stuff. Who cares if the bike looks like its an antique. I remember playing on one from my great grandmothers house when I was young.. It looks similar to the one in the picture you posted. As long as it works thats all that matters!
Hope you have a Blessed day
