Secrets and the Judge

Do you think you can hide your secret if you have one?  You may be able to hide it from your family, friends, co-workers, church family but can you really hide it from God?

Hebrews 4:13 (NIV)  Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight.  Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

You can't hide anything from God.  We may try to hide in darkness but because He is the light of the world, it won't be hidden.  He can see everything we do.

Ecclesiastes 12:14 (NIV)  For god will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing whether it is good or evil.

1 Corinthians 4:5 (NIV)  Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time;  wait till the Lord comes.  He will bring to light what is hidden in the darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts.  At that time each will receive his praise from God.

The truth will come out sooner or later.  Wouldn't it be easier to get it out now, and ask for forgiveness?  Then it will be remembered no more by our Lord.  But if you don't reveal it now it will be revealed later, for we all will stand before Him whether we are Christian or a non-Christian.  No one will be excused from this event.

Romans 2:16 (NIV)  This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

Acts 10:42 (NIV)  He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom god appointed as judge of the living and the dead.

James 4:12a (NIV)  There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the won who is able to save and destroy.

One Judge and he will decide the fate of all of us, unless you receive Him as your Savior and Lord, then your fate will be with Him forever.  Which fate do you want, forever with Him or eternal suffering?  Choose wisely as they say but it should be the easiest choice to make.  What do you want to do?  Blessing to all.
