Time Management

As some of you already know I have gone back to school.   I started at Colorado Technical University (CTU) today Nov. 14 2010.  My graduation date is 5/2012.  I am excited to be going to school and I have to thank our Lord for getting me to this point in my life.  I have to remember that it was all Him and have to maintain Him as the driver of my life.

Everyday I say out loud in my car or somewhere, "You are the Lord of my life, Lord, I trust you my Lord."  There is no other way to be able to do all this without Him.

Ephesians 4:15 (NIV)  Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is Christ.

Psalm 31:14 (NIV)  But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, "You are my God."

So now time management plays a big part of my picture.  There is work, classroom time, homework time, study time, tuning in assignments on time along with family time and as I say "me time" so I don't get burned out.  But the most important time is "God Time".  I need to make sure that I spend time with Him everyday even if it is a smidget, at least it is time with Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

That is a great verse to keep in my heart.  Don't let human nature take control, lean on Him and acknowledge Him and He will make my paths straight.  It's His way not my way anymore and that's always a work in progress.  Thank you Lord for what you are doing in my life.  You are awesome!
